Soldotna & Homer
This morning, you'll head south and tour down the Turnagain Arm along the Seward Highway. This "All American Scenic Highway" has spectacular views of the Cook Inlet and Chugach Mountains. In dramatic fashion, see where the mountains meet the sea.

Visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center where you will see moose, bears, musk ox and other indigenous animals of the region. Taking in orphaned animals and providing quality animal care year-round, the Conservation Center is dedicated to the protection and preservation of Alaska's wildlife. Animals that cannot be released back into the wild are given a permanent home at the Center.

A lunch stop will be made in the community of Soldotna, also known as the "Fishing Capital of the World." Enjoy a brief stop near the world-famous Kenai River and see where the monster King Salmon fish are lured by fisherman, and learn about the five species of salmon that call Alaska home.

As you continue through the mountains of the Kenai Peninsula down the coast, enjoy the spectacular views of Kachemak Bay, the Kenai Mountains and several volcanic peaks across Cook Inlet, including Mt. Augustine, Mt. Iliamna, and Mt. Redoubt. Near the southern tip of the Kenai Peninsula, you'll encounter the town of Homer, an authentic Alaskan community not geared toward mass tourism and often described as "where the land ends and the sea begins."

Homer has a history steeped in commercial fishing and a mild climate moderated by the Pacific Ocean. This results in warmer winters and cooler summers compared to other areas of Alaska. Homer is also famous for the Homer Spit, a 4.5-mile-long natural spit of land extending into Kachemak Bay, which you can explore in the evening.

Cruising the Inside Passage
Shaped by the staggering force of massive glaciers millions of years ago, Alaska’s Inside Passage boasts wildlife-filled fjords and lush island scenery — habitat for bald eagles, sea lions, porpoises and whales. Its mountains are carpeted with majestic forests. Inside Passage Alaska is home to Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian Indians whose history is reflected in towering totem poles. Russian settlers left a legacy of onion-domed churches gleaming with icons.

Picture
Hubbard Glacier
Get up close and personal with the gigantic Hubbard Glacier, North America's largest tidewater glacier. It's 1350 square miles of blue ice and one of the most active in Alaska.

Picture
Icy Strait Point
The Icy Strait Point experience combines authentic regional culture with incredible natural beauty. Enjoy Tlingit dancing and art. Or get closer than you'd ever imagine to humpback whales and brown bears in the wild. Work up a wilderness hunger and satisfy it with fresh Dungeness crab. Take a cruise from Icy Strait Point and enjoy Alaska's awe-inspiring scenery and the many excursion options that NCL has to offer.

Picture
Juneau
Juneau has been called “ Alaska's peak experience,” due in part to its unparalleled glacier viewing from such places as Tracy Arm Fjord, the Juneau Icefields and Glacier Bay National Park. Kayak up one of the area's many protected waterways, go flightseeing, tour historic downtown or try your hand at panning for gold.

Picture
Sawyer Glacier
Cruise past Sawyer Glacier.  Prepare to experience all the beauty and majesty of the Alaskan wilderness. Get up close and personal with the gigantic Hubbard Glacier, see humpback whales off of Icy Strait Point, take the reins of a dogsled in Juneau, and ride a jet-powered catamaran in Ketchikan.

Picture
Skagway
In a single year from 1896 to 1897, this remote town along the Inside Passage grew from a few tents to a city of 20,000 gold seekers. Today, travelers come in search of other riches – to experience yesteryear along Skagway's charming boardwalk lined with buildings that replicate those Gold Rush days.

Picture
Ketchikan
Its Tlingit Indian name, Kach Khanna, means “spread wings of the eagle.” Chances are you'll see one of these magnificent birds perched atop a Sitka tree. Thanks to its abundant rainfall, Ketchikan is surrounded by some of the world's most lush wilderness.

Picture
Vancouver, BC
Positioned between the snow-dusted North Shore Mountains and the rich, blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, Vancouver blends big-city sophistication with small-town charm. Don't miss Queen Elizabeth Park – a 130-acre civic arboretum accented with sculptures by modern artist Henry Moore.
